Nazione Lombarda - I lombardisti | Powered by cyberware-industries
As newcomers, for the moment we are few but committed: people are not yet accustomed to our ideas, our tone, our determination. In any case, since we do not aim at money or public office, we focus above all on quality rather than quantity in our Members. For this reason as well, we hope that true Lombard identitarians will join us. In any event, Nazione Lombarda was founded by ten founding fathers.
2) What exactly do you do?
Nazione Lombarda is a political association whose fundamental and general aim is the defense, recovery, and emancipation of the identity of Great Lombardy. First and foremost, it was founded as a movement of opinion aimed at raising awareness among the historical Lombard population about its true roots, with an eye toward a future of freedom. What we intend to do in concrete terms, in order to achieve these demanding objectives, can be found in our Program.
3) Why should someone join you?
First of all, because they share the ideas we put forward and wish to help us—possibly also in person—to spread them among our slumbering compatriots. Furthermore, because we are the first and only political-cultural entity that places true Lombardy at the center of its action and that has developed what we call rational ethno-nationalism. Further information can be found on our pages Ethnic Lombardy, Great Lombardy, and Weltanschauung.
4) Do you take part in political elections?
As a political association, our main activities are the dissemination of Lombardist principles and the raising of public awareness regarding the fundamental issues we address. We do not participate, and will not participate in the short term, in elections, but we do not rule out a priori the possibility that in the future we may enter the field and become an organized party capable of politically representing the true interests of Great Lombardy. For the time being, in Lombard fashion, we keep our feet on the ground.
5) Do you collaborate with any other associations?
At present we have not established any official collaboration. However, we are in contact with various identitarians from the Alpine-Padan lands, especially from ethnic Lombardy, and we hope to be able to develop fruitful relationships in the future.
6) Do you have anything to do with the Lega (Nord)?
No, we have never been Leghisti, and with that opportunistic, turncoat party—now Italianist—we have nothing (fortunately) to do. Leghism has few ideas and confused ones, and has done nothing but cheapen the legitimate Granlombard cause by inventing a so-called “Padania” stretching as far as Terni, with all the trappings, including the well-known buffoonery of its representatives. It is part of the system that must be fought, not a solution to it, all the more so because the Via Bellerio clique in no way represents Lombardy and has never been an ethno-nationalist subject—least of all today. After all, it is enough to see how Leghisti are now nothing more than Italian right-wingers with no interest whatsoever in ethnic and cultural issues.
7) You want the self-affirmation of Great Lombardy: what exactly does that mean?
Although many Roman state-worshippers often invoke Article 5 of the Constitution (“The Republic is one and indivisible”) to delegitimize any possible independence claim, or even any proposal for a rational reorganization of the Italian state (and we reject the useless and senseless tricolour federalism), it must be pointed out that the same Constitution recognizes, in Article 10, its subordination to international law. Since Italy has ratified at least three international treaties that explicitly affirm that “peoples always have the right, in full freedom, to determine when and how they wish their internal and external political regime” (Final Act of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, Title A, Art. 8), the demand for self-determination is perfectly legitimate.
8) Technically speaking, then. But concretely, what do you ask for?
We stand for ethno-nationalism and for a mild cantonal federalism among brothers, which has nothing to do with the theatrics of the “carroccio.” We want to restore a unified ethnic face to the country—historical Lombardy—and reconcile the Cisalpine national, Lombardist vision with the “imperial” one of the Eurosiberian consortium, which is the true Europe of peoples. We are open to constructive dialogue with all European identitarians and ethnicists, including Italian ones, so that a very strong völkisch consciousness may form and lead to a radical reform of the continent’s political and bureaucratic bodies. Our field of action logically remains first and foremost ethnic Lombardy and Great Lombardy, also evaluating a possible western and eastern administrative subdivision of the Lombardies. The Alpine-Padan people have every right to self-determine, naturally within the framework of Lombardism, opening the way to a prudent communitarianism.
9) After all the effort our forefathers made to unite Italy, why should we now divide it, or worse, dismantle it through secessionism?
We readily acknowledge the Granlombard historical contribution to Italian events, but it makes no sense to forcibly hold together—within an empty state apparatus—populations that are profoundly diversified at the ethnocultural, linguistic, and even geographical levels. Unity does indeed create strength, but only if harmonized through an administrative structure that allows all identities to be safeguarded without the typical Italian distortions—a structure therefore justified by the national and social reality of Great Lombardy. The Italian Republic represents no nation, because there is no Italy from the Alps to Sicily, and it is, not by chance, a globalist colonial state born after the Second World War. Moreover, “secession” is an improper term: nothing would be separating, since Padania is not the north of anything.
10) So you would really be in favor of independence for Great Lombardy as you have outlined it?
An independence path is, in our view, unavoidable, because once Granlombard otherness with respect to the properly Italian sphere is established, the necessity arises to give the Cisalpine peoples their rightful identitarian dimension, which entails freedom from Rome and from any supranational entity. We are ethno-nationalists before being independentists, for a very simple reason: Lombard ethno-nationalism presupposes independence, but not vice versa. First and foremost, we want to invest in militant culture and metapolitics, also because without re-education—or rather acculturation—a people cannot suddenly claim self-determination. Secondly, we focus on völkisch communitarianism, distancing ourselves from any Catalan or Scottish imitation, that is, from progressive or “civic” and inclusive models. Lombards, in any case, have every right to pursue nationalist paths that shield them from the abuses of a republic totally aligned with the EU, NATO, and the USA, and, as stated, lacking any unified ethnic identity.
11) How do you approach the linguistic question?
Since there is no Lombard (or pan-Lombard) koinè, we believe that the adoption of the amended classical vulgar Milanese as a bureaucratic and literary language—starting from the ethnic or at least western Granlombard area—is the best solution for everyone, unless someone were to revive the famous Lombard-Venetian scripta of the Middle Ages, which was, however, an illustrious vernacular. Naturally, the other indigenous languages would also be protected at the local level.
12) Do you harbor hostility toward southern Italians?
We harbor hostility toward no ethnicity and/or race, but it must be clarified that in Lombardy a “southern question” has arisen due to issues linked to the post-war exodus, including the spread of mafias and certain lifestyles alien to Great Lombardy. We are well aware that responsibility for these phenomena lies first and foremost with the exploiters of both the “north” and the south (and of Rome), but millions of individuals uprooted from their land and transplanted elsewhere inevitably lead to a disruption of the original ethno-social fabric of the host territory (also because we and ethnic Italians are certainly not the same people), as well as to overpopulation, cementification, and pollution.
13) What do you think of immigrants in general?
Since Great Lombardy is already heavily overpopulated with Lombards alone, we are absolutely opposed to any further immigration, regardless of origin. For the same reason, we believe that immigrants already present should leave Great Lombardy. Immigration, especially mass immigration, is always wrong and does not represent a solution to the long-standing problems of certain parts of the globe—least of all to ours.
14) So are you basically neo-Nazis?
No, we are rational ethno-nationalists, not neo-Nazis. Regime media often try to instill the ridiculous stereotype ethno-nationalism = neo-Nazism, but anyone with even a minimal understanding of ethnic nationalism immediately understands that this is a sly method used to delegitimize a current of thought that is rather uncomfortable for the system and the globalist status quo.
15) But you are racist, right?
No, we do not believe in any racial hierarchy and/or superiority, and therefore we condemn hatred, violence, and discrimination, starting with those directed against Cisalpines and Europeans. We do, however, acknowledge the existence and anthropogenetic differences among human subspecies, as well as the serious biological, social, and cultural dangers posed by a multiracial and mixed society. For this reason, we consider a separation at the reproductive and environmental level among human races to be desirable, for the protection of biodiversity and of the many cultures of the sapiens species.
16) Who is Lombard according to you?
As consistent ethno-nationalists, it should be clear that, in our view, belonging to an ethnicity and to a nation is acquired solely through ius sanguinis. Consequently, we can define as Lombard one who is native and has biological ancestors indigenous to Great Lombardy (in other words, ancestors not acquired, with typically Alpine-Padan surnames). Considering, however, that genetic exchange with other European peoples should not be regarded as miscegenation, ethnic belonging to Lombard land could also legitimately apply to someone who has three (or two) indigenous Lombard grandparents and one (or two) indigenous European grandparent.
17) How do you position yourselves with respect to the world?
It should be obvious, but being proud of one’s national, ethnic, and racial identity does not mean despising those of other peoples; indeed, we are in favor of long-distance international relations with all other peoples of the planet. However, as conscious environmentalists, we believe that production should take place near the place of consumption in order to reduce impact on ecosystems. Trade exchanges would therefore be aimed at obtaining raw materials and energy that our continent cannot sufficiently provide.
18) What is your position on the EU?
Since the Union is a ridiculous hodgepodge of state apparatuses (which often oppress the peoples they incorporate), European in name only and governed by a caste of bureaucrats who serve globalist lodges, it is evident that we eagerly await its end. In its place, a European consortium based on nations and structured along ethno-geographical lines is needed; it makes no sense whatsoever to unite a Norwegian with a Sicilian. This body could, in any case, quite easily include Russia as well, since up to the Urals it is Europe, extending the project to the Asian part of the Federation for geopolitical, autarchic, and economic-commercial reasons.
19) What is your position on globalization?
We are deeply hostile to globalist centralizing systems aimed at overriding the authority, sovereignty, and identity of peoples; therefore, we cannot but oppose the ideas and policies of those who seek to imprison nations within global bureaucratic cages, or to emasculate them with dark ideologies alien to indigenous culture. It goes without saying that this discourse also applies to the economic and financial sphere, and to global control of markets.
20) Don’t you think your aims are merely utopian by now?
As long as there are men willing to devote themselves to the patriotic cause, nothing will ever truly be lost, and we must take nothing for granted. Our intent is primarily cultural and metapolitical, aimed at (re)education, and for this reason no second of our lives is wasted. Communitarianism, moreover, is not a chimera but rather a path that today is more necessary than ever to preserve that genuineness which only direct contact between man and the rural world can best guarantee—without thereby denying or renouncing rightful development. Those who possess iron will must not surrender in the face of the modern climate, otherwise they would have lost without fighting; their mission is to awaken as many consciences as possible so that they may join the struggle for the safeguarding and promotion of what is most true and authentic to us: the blood of our people, the ancestral soil of our forefathers, and the luminous spirit inherited from those who shaped Europe, namely our Indo-European fathers. Truth stands with those who defend this fundamental triad—that is, with those who defend nature, which made possible the inimitable civilization of the continent.
