Program

1) Spread of the Concept of Ethnic Lombardy and Great Lombardy

Because of the absurd internal political divisions and the creation of artificial administrative entities, the term “Lombardy” has, over time, shifted from defining what in the Middle Ages had emerged as the ethnic area heir to Cisalpine Gaul and Langobardia Maior (excluding Tuscany), to labeling a more than mutilated region of the Italian Republic. Our fundamental goal, therefore, is to help both Lombards and non-Lombards rediscover what the true Lombardy is—starting from its Northwestern ethnic nucleus (the hydrographic basin of the River Po), expanded to include neighboring Cisalpine-speaking peoples, and extending to its Great Lombard dimension, which encompasses the entire north of the Italian Republic (from the Alps to the Massa–Senigallia ethnolinguistic line), including several irredentist territories.

2) Defence of the Ethnic Identity of the Great Lombard People

Any discussion about safeguarding our ethnic identity would be pointless without first recognizing our true ethnic origins. For decades, Lombards have been misled by the notion that they have merely Latin and Mediterranean roots and belong to an indistinct “single family from the Alps to Sicily,” when in fact our ethnic origins are Celto-Romance, sub-Mediterranean, with a superficial Germanic contribution. For this reason, we intend to promote information that will help our compatriots understand their true ethnic roots.

Furthermore, given our extremely low birth rate and the massive influx of immigrants—first Italian, later European and non-European—we find ourselves in a situation where Lombards have become a minority in many areas of Great Lombardy. For the sake of preserving Lombard ethnic identity and human biodiversity, we believe it is necessary to raise awareness among native Lombards about the desirability of spontaneously developing an endogamic consciousness (that is, favoring unions among compatriots and culturally similar individuals), together with a revival of the natural family’s traditional value. Fighting against the extinction of the Lombard people, including on a biological level, is our precise moral duty.

3) Defence of Great Lombard Land

Since the defence of Lombard land must necessarily follow the defence of the Lombard people’s ethnic identity, special attention will be devoted to problems such as the destruction of agricultural soil and deforestation, uncontrolled urbanization, pollution, overpopulation, the invasion of harmful alien species, and the degradation of original natural environments. We will therefore work to raise public awareness in Lombardy to restore the symbiosis between man and nature and to implement measures that foster environmental respect even among urban populations, generally less sensitive to these issues. It is also worth specifying the climatic and geographical nature of Great Lombardy, which is not Mediterranean and peninsular, but subcontinental—a bridge between the truly Mediterranean world and continental Europe.

4) Defence and Promotion of the Languages of Great Lombardy

The Romance languages spoken in Great Lombardy—namely Lombard in its “Gallo-Italic” sense (Piedmontese, Insubric, Orobic, Emilian, Romagnol, Ligurian) and its historical forms (Romansh, Ladin, Friulian), together with Venetian—belong to the family of Western Romance languages (like French, Occitan, and Catalan), and not to the Eastern Romance group (like Tuscan, Neapolitan, or Romanian). Lombard speech is part of the Gallo-Romance linguistic area.

Although Lombardy has adopted Italian (the literary Florentine) as its official and overarching language, the time has come for Great Lombards to properly value their splendid idioms, cleansing them of recent corruptions. In this spirit, we aim to promote scientific and historical-linguistic dissemination about the languages spoken across Great Lombardy, with particular attention to the specifically Lombard area (essentially pure Gallo-Italic), and to address important open questions such as the convergence toward shared orthographic principles and the adoption of a pan-Lombard koinè, which in our view could be best represented by the refined classical popular Milanese.

5) Recovery and Defence of the Culture and Traditions of Great Lombardy

The campaign of “cultural” homogenization carried out by the media and the Italian state over the last century has not only brought the languages of Great Lombardy to the brink of extinction, but has also influenced and damaged many typically Lombard traditions. We will therefore devote particular attention to the appreciation of our land’s most important historical commemorations, the rediscovery of our food and wine culture, the safeguarding of our customs and traditions worthy of special protection, and above all, the recovery of our Alpine-Padanian way of life—defined by honesty, industriousness, and loyalty.

6) Development and Spread of the Rational Ethnonationalist Weltanschauung

Our worldview is a form of ethnonationalism derived from the rational analysis of reality, and can therefore be defined as “rational ethnonationalism” (abbreviated as ethnorationalism). Starting from the premise that human reason and the scientific method are the best tools for attaining the most objective understanding possible of physical reality (rationalism), we have observed and analyzed nature to understand its mechanisms and have reached the conclusion that the best Weltanschauung is ethnonationalism.

This is the political doctrine that places the interest of the nation—understood as the community of peoples united by ethnicity, language, culture, territory, and history—as the fundamental goal of public activity, and that considers ethnicity as the principal element that sustains the national community, an element that cannot be disregarded. Consequently, we will strive to disseminate and apply our worldview as broadly as possible using every means available to us.

7) Promotion of Communitarianism and the Militant Lombardist Culture/Doctrine

A valuable tool offered by ethnonationalist philosophy is certainly communitarianism—that is, the rediscovery of man’s most intimate and natural dimension (contact with unspoiled land) in order to strengthen the spirit of belonging, ethnic solidarity, and cohesion among all compatible peoples. This return to nature does not mean rejecting the positive aspects of progress, technology, and development, but rather reconciling them with the enduring values derived from the traditional way of life.

The goal is to achieve true material and spiritual well-being, restoring to the national community the civilizational ideal that once made Lombardy and Europe great. For this reason, we Lombardists will work to make the communitarian theme more relevant than ever—not as anarcho-primitivism, but as a ruralist revival grounded in the doctrine of Lombardism itself. Lombard ethnonationalism is the fundamental essence of our Association; accordingly, we will work to affirm a form of militancy consistent with our principles—one that is both mission and example.

8) Opposition to Progressivism and the “Woke” Phenomenon

Lombardism positions itself as a kind of “third way,” both social and national, aimed at achieving the ethnic, communal, and patriotic emancipation of Great Lombardy in the name of identity and tradition. No compromise is possible with capitalism and the modern Western mentality, nor with the various offshoots of Marxist socialism, which have now evolved into liberal currents (with their fetish for false progress) and the so-called woke phenomenon.

The values that inspire us are the rational and scientific reverence for ethnicity, land, and culture, combined with a traditional ideal inherited from the clear-minded spirit of our Indo-European ancestors. It follows that we must fiercely oppose everything that promotes relativism—whether racial, ethnic, sexual (in terms of sexes and orientations), familial, or psychophysical—because truth is one, and nature knows no political correctness.

9) Defence of the Europe of Peoples and Opposition to Globalization

We firmly believe in the great imperial and confederal family of Europe’s true nations and peoples, pursuing the geopolitical project of a Euro-Siberia conceived as an ethnic and racial union that unites all indigenous Europids. We reject the European Union, NATO, subservience to Israel, American unipolarism, and also Third-Worldist multipolarism—that is, all forms of globalism seeking to create a kind of universalism in which identity bonds lose all meaning and are swept away by consumerist, antifascist, and antiracist homogenization.

We will fight to rehabilitate the concept of “Fortress Europe,” in the name of an ethnicist Europeanism inspired by Lombardist principles, spreading the message that globalization always means destruction—for everyone.

10) Self-Affirmation and Independence of Great Lombardy

An ideal solution for becoming once again the legitimate owners of our lands is to reclaim the Lombard nation’s right to self-determination—to become masters of our destiny once more, without delegating public governance to Rome, Brussels, or Washington.

Since the peoples of Great Lombardy possess all the requisites to be defined as an ethnic and national group (starting from the Northwestern Padanian core), we will energize political and cultural debate to claim, through recognized and legitimate legal means, the right to self-affirmation with the goal of building a Cisalpine ethnostate within a true Europe of peoples.

We believe that sovereign power belongs to the nation, and therefore it should not be the State that legitimizes itself (as in the case of the Italian Republic), but rather the nation that legitimizes the State. In these times—when both Lombardy and Europe are experiencing inexorable decline caused by globalization, supranational entities, neo-Marxist ideology (the Frankfurt School), and 19th-century state apparatuses—ethnonationalism represents the only path of salvation for the Alpine-Padanian peoples, who have become, especially in the west, a minority in their own land.

Ethnic Lombard nationalism presupposes independence—but not necessarily the other way around.
